Layoff Lull Well And Truly Over

It almost seemed as we commented yesterday that layoffs at law firms had slowed..but it looks as though a lot of firms haven’t reached the bottom of the trough yet..

Sunday JD Journal reported that UK Denton Wilde Sapte have had to pull out the scapel in Moscow

Denton Wilde Sapte Lays Off Undisclosed Lawyers, Staff

As international law firms cut back on their Moscow footprints, Denton Wilde Sapte has confirmed it laid off both lawyers and support staff at the Russian capital.
The firm has not released any details or numbers.
In March, Dentons laid off 37 lawyers and 39 staff in the UK.
