Law School Abortion Chat Prompts Probe of Alleged Harassment

American University is investigating eight law students for allegedly harassing a conservative student during a heated group chat over the draft Supreme Court abortion opinion leak, according to a student who said he was among those being investigated.

The unidentified student who complained alleges that he was sent “harassing and threatening messages” via the GroupMe messaging app over his “political affiliation and religious beliefs,” according to a university Office of Equity and Title IX notice of investigation.
