This virtual panel discussion will address the tension between public health and personal autonomy, constitutional challenges to government-mandated vaccination, masking and social distancing requirements, federalism issues arising from differing federal, state, and local requirements or restrictions, the impact of COVID-19 on the administration of justice, and legal issues in the workplace caused by COVID-19.

This event will start with a welcome by Aslihan Bulut, the Law Librarian of Congress, and will be moderated by Kannon K. Shanmugam, Esquire, Chair of the Supreme Court and Appellate Practice Group and managing partner of the Paul Weiss Washington, D.C. office, former American Inn of Court Board of Trustee, and Honorary Bencher of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple.

The Honorable Barbara M.G. Lynn, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court Northern District of Texas and President of the American Inn of Court.
