GK Men Reports..

Wakulla County authorities announced on Friday morning the search for three escaped inmates from the county jail.

Based on the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office’s preliminary investigation, the inmates used a “breach” in the ceiling of the jail’s Law Library to escape around 12:09 a.m. Each of them were in jail for various charges, including burglary.

Donald James Cotterman, 44: “described as a white male, 5’11” tall, weighing 156 pounds, and was charged with burglary, criminal mischief and weapon possession.

The suspects were wearing grey or white sweats and long johns.

Casey Martina Brandon – Caucasian male 6’02” 210 lbs. date of birth 07/05/1992 charges Burglary, Theft, Vehicle theft, and Criminal Mischief.

Deputies are following up on each of the many leads and tips that come in.

Deputies are being assisted by the Florida Highway Patrol, the Leon County Sheriff’s Office, the Department of Corrections, and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

Deputies wrote that there is no indication that these individuals are armed but because they are escaped inmates they are considered risky. There have been no orders issued by the Sheriff’s Office for residents in the area to remain indoors. Wakulla County Schools are also closed.

If you see these inmates do not approach them call the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office immediately 850-926-0800 or 850-745-7100.

The inmates then apparently “made their way across the building above the ceiling to an exit point where they made their escape”, the sheriff’s office said.
