We are currently seeking a librarian who has the acute attention to detail required for library work, combined with flexibility and customer service skills necessary to service our professional clients. Requirements
Our ideal candidate must be a self-motivated and hard-working individual who can work well independently, as well as manage multiple tasks under time constraints
The position requires good organizational and time management skills
Must have the ability to interact professionally with our clients in a business setting
Potential duties include ready reference, legal and business research, collection development, collection maintenance, serials maintenance, basic cataloging, some clerical and administrative work
Knowledge of Westlaw, Lexis, Bloomberg BNA, WK Cheetah and Microsoft Excel preferred
Ability to learn and use a variety of online research programs essential
Qualifications
Master of Library and Information Science Degree or commensurate experience
Minimum one year of recent experience with legal or business research
Full time position
We will consider qualified candidates who want to work part-time (25+ hours per week)
