Accufile, Inc., a professional library services firm, is seeking a forward thinking, experienced, solo, Law Librarian. The candidate must have significant law library experience, be committed to service, and demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. **MUST have the ability to work at client site**
The Law Librarian performs a wide range of duties in support of the Firm’s personnel and on-site library including; research and reference assistance, collection development, technical services, business development, budget planning and library maintenance.

Responsibilities:
- A working knowledge of principles and procedures of professional library work including methods, practices, and techniques of library classification, cataloging, and reference services.
- Participates in and coordinates orientation and training of new attorneys/staff as requested.
- Provides skilled and sophisticated legal and non-legal research using traditional and electronic resources.
- Develop and manage the library budget, continually assessing potential needs/cost saving measures, and providing budget variance explanations and forecasting of expenditures.
- Ability to deliver superior service to all internal and external customers and communicate effectively.
Qualifications:
- MLIS, plus JD or related law library experience is required.
- 3-5 years’ relevant experience in a law firm environment is required.
- Ability to deliver superior service to all internal and external customers.
- Exceptional communications skills, both written and oral.
- Contract negotiations skills a plus.
