The BIALL Council have? announced the annual award for law librarians, sponsored by Wildy & Sons Ltd.

The recipient of the award each year will be decided by a special meeting of the elected Council Officers, along with an observer from Wildys, based upon recommendations made by BIALL members.
Wildy & Sons are maintaining the annual award, as well as providing an amount of ?500.00 to each recipient.
The award will be given to an individual librarian who, in the opinion of the Officers, has made a significant contribution to the work of BIALL and/or the legal information profession.
The presentation of the award will be at the forthcoming Gateshead / Newcastle Conference in June 2011, and all members are invited to contact Judith Lowe, BIALL Awards and Bursaries Committee, with their recommendations.
Please provide as much detail as possible about your recommended person, and include a short statement explaining why they should receive this award.
