Do you have top end hospitality experience??? Sick of weekend and night work??? Look no further!? Top Law firm is seeking an in-house Catering Assistant.
Working as part of a small, busy team your role is to provide a waiting service to the firm.
Your duties will include:
Liaising with Head waiter re food and beverage requirements for meetings and functions
Provide waiter service for all functions and meetings
Ensuring correct set up of room
Ensure all equipment and fixtures are maintained to a high standard
Clean and stock up fridges in meeting rooms
Assist Head Waiter in ordering all stock, equipment and consumables
Maintain relationships with suppliers
Liaise with catering team to ensure changes in functions / meetings are communicated
To be considered for this position you will need to have:
A minimum of 3 years experience in a top hospitality establishment
Excellent knowledge of food and wine
Excellent verbal communication skills
Corporate personal presentation
The ability to work under pressure
Ability to master audio visual and technical equipment
A flexible, hands on approach to work
Discreet demeanour
Strong attention to detail
High work ethic
PLEASE NOTE: The hours are on a roster system from 7.00am – 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.? You will be required to work 8.5 hours per day.? Please note you must be physically fit to apply for this position as some moving of furniture may be required.? This may be offered on an initial 6 month contract with a view to permanency, however you must be a permanent resident to apply.
