KYIV-MOHYLA ACADEMY RELEASES SCHEDULE OF LEGAL ADVOCACY WEBINARS

The inaugural webinar, part of the KMAcademic Talks: International Law and the War series, is scheduled for April 6. This event, targeting Ukrainians abroad and individuals keen on supporting Ukraine’s causes, is organized under the auspices of the National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” project. The Ukrainian World Congress is collaborating as an informational partner. Additionally, the organizers have announced a comprehensive schedule of related initiatives.

At the first meeting, experts will discuss the environmental dimension of Russian war crimes and the aftermath of the Russian brutal attack on the Kakhovka HPP last June. This event will feature Dmytro Koval, an Associate Professor at the National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.” Registration for the lecture is available at the following linkUpon confirmation of registration, participants will receive an invitation to the lecture. The language of the webinar is English.

The project’s primary objective is to engage in conversations about critical aspects of international law in the context of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. The collaboration is designed to promote dialogue on pertinent issues and assemble a detailed compilation of arguments and evidence illustrating Russia’s breaches of international law. This compiled information will be instrumental for advocacy, enriching public debate, and bolstering Ukraine’s position on diverse international platforms.

The Ukrainian World Congress is set to play a pivotal part in facilitating these discussions by distributing webinar resources, connecting Ukrainian communities globally, enhancing dialogue between the National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” and the Ukrainian diaspora, and creating a network centered around these vital conversations.
