An opportunity exists for a Knowledge Professional to join the Corrs Knowledge Centre team.
The Knowledge Centre team at Corrs is responsible for the provision of strategically aligned, client-focused library and information services, resources and programs to support our lawyers with providing world-class legal advice.
As a member of the Knowledge Centre team, the Knowledge Professional is responsible for the delivery of high quality information services to Corrs’ partners, lawyers and staff.
Key responsibilities
Conducting legal and business research
Assisting with Knowledge Centre training programs and induction sessions.
Collection maintenance, including serial accessioning and cataloguing.
Provision of current awareness services.
Participation in Knowledge Centre projects.
Required skills and experience
This role would suit a motivated, highly collaborative and organised individual, who can demonstrate:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a strong attention to detail.
Research and analytical skills.
Keen interest in understanding the Australian legal system and sources of primary law.
Degree qualification in relevant field.
