Knowledge Management Analyst – Law – London
One of the largest offshore law firms requires a Knowledge Analyst to support their Litigation and ITPC law practices by providing resource management and research services to the firm globally, whilst working closely with the Knowledge function, to promote and embed the knowledge strategy.
Main responsibilities include:
- Acting as the point of contact for all knowledge requests, diverting more technical requests to the Knowledge Lawyers, and taking ownership of requests on their behalf
- Support the capture, organisation, and easy access to relevant knowledge for the Litigation and ITPC teams globally
- Deliver an effective and efficient access and training on relevant research resources and provide induction support to new starters
- To provide a range of current awareness updates to fee-earners, in conjunction with the Knowledge Lawyers
- As part of the wider Knowledge team, assist in encouraging legal teams and business services to share knowledge using all tools available, ensuring appropriate training and support is provided
To be considered for this role you will need the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role with an international law firm (onshore or offshore) or similar environment
- Solid working knowledge of undertaking research on behalf of legal teams
- Flexible approach to working to provide services across a number of time zones
- Able to demonstrate initiative, be proactive, have a positive outlook, and be well-organised with good personal management skills
- A proven record of taking ownership of tasks and responsibility for ensuring completion
- Excellent communications skills with an aptitude for building rapport and trust with stakeholders
- An information related qualification (desirable)
