Meeting Chinese Legal Professionals’ IP Law and Court Case Demands Through Extension of Collaboration Between Wolters Kluwer China and Commercial Press

BEIJING, Sept. 5, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia/ — The understanding of the critical importance about protecting intellectual property rights (IPR) in China has soared and an increase in the size of patent applications portfolio is resulting in increased litigation. To meet the rising demands for lawyers in China, the publishing agreement between Wolters Kluwer China( http://www.wolterskluwerchina.com.cn ) and Commercial Press( http://www.cp.com.cn ) is aimed to help the legal community in China to better respond to the impact of IPR protection needs.

The signed agreement consisting of nine IP law titles is an extension of the collaboration between Commercial Press and Wolters Kluwer. The partnership started a year ago aims to increase the quality of legal and regulatory content for lawyers and other legal professionals in China. The new publications that will follow from the agreement include two influential Chinese legal titles, which will be available in various format for national and international customers, as well as the Chinese version of “Employment Law and Works Councils of the Netherlands”, respond to a better understanding of the multi-layered, dynamic economic environment in the country and to facilitate achievements both domestic and abroad.
