Today is my last day as Law Library Director and Associate Professor of Law at the University of Oklahoma College of Law.
After more than ten years here, today marks a significant milestone in my career. OU Law took a chance on me, first as its inaugural Digital Resources Librarian, then as its first Director of Technology Innovation, and ultimately as Law Library Director. My time here has provided me the foundation and autonomy to develop as a law librarian, educator, and leader working at the intersection of legal education and legal technology and OU Law has consistently supported some of my wildest ideas around innovation in legal research, professional skills education, legal operations, and library services. For that trust and encouragement, I am profoundly grateful.
Thank you to the many students, faculty, and staff that I have had the pleasure of working with at OU Law that has truly made it an amazing experience. Thank you also to the national legal tech and law librarian communities whose collaboration, mentorship, and friendship amplified the impact of this work and made this chapter so meaningful.
