Job Opportunity – Wildy & Sons Ltd – Subscriptions Customer Support

Wildy & Sons Ltd are seeking an additional person to join our busy Subscriptions Management team at our offices in Lincoln’s Inn, WC2.  You will be joining our existing team handling the management and renewal process of print and online subscriptions on behalf of our customers from the law, finance and insurance sectors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • handling telephone and e-mail enquiries from customers and processing of orders received
  • liaising between our customers and publishers on the setting up of new subscriptions and renewal of existing subscriptions
  • handling claims for missing issues and working with publishers to achieve the successful resolution of problems that may arise with a subscription
  • liaising with customers to ensure subscriptions are renewed in a timely manner
  • cataloguing and labelling of books and journal issues received for our consolidation customers
  • acting as the primary contact on subscription matters for certain key customers, and liaising with the account manager, bookshop team and accounts as appropriate.

Our ideal candidate will have some experience of working within a commercial library or publisher and a degree of familiarity with the subscription products in use by the law, finance and insurance sectors.  You will need excellent communication and customer service skills, the ability to be calm under pressure and effectively manage a varied and demanding workload.  You should be a good team player able to take direction while also being able to work unsupervised on a day-to-day basis.
