Based in London and established in 1830, Wildy & Sons Ltd are specialist law booksellers and publisher to the legal profession, both within the UK and overseas. Our customers include individual barristers and solicitors, law firms, barristers’ chambers, government departments, commercial businesses and academic institutions. We pride ourselves on consistently providing a high level of service to our customers which we tailor to meet the specific needs of each client.
We are seeking to appoint an Account Manager to cover the North of England, Scotland, and Ireland. Working from your home you will be expected to travel for meetings with customers on a regular basis and provide support and assistance on the supply of print books and subscription products. You will be the first point of contact for customers in your regions and will liaise with our books and subscriptions management teams in our London office to ensure the efficient fulfilment of orders and answers to queries.
You will be taking over an existing customer base and, once you have established a successful relationship with them, will be expected to expand the business by identifying new business opportunities within your regions.
The successful applicant will:
- ideally have some experience of working at a law firm or legal publisher and have an understanding of the UK legal information industry.
- be well organised and have excellent written and verbal communication and persuasive skills.
- be the voice of the customer and capture valuable feedback and insights to drive customer satisfaction and enhance customer experiences.
- be self-motivated and able to work well without the need for constant supervision.
