Responsibilities:
Work closely with the senior management of AECOM?s Asia operations and AECOM?s Legal Department to provide legal, risk management and compliance support to the business operations in the region.
Monitoring error & omission, general liability and other claims/dispute resolution and litigation.
Supervision of outside counsel.
Risk management and government/legal compliance.
Requirements:
Minimum 7 years? legal experience in the Architecture/Engineering or Construction business.
Legal degree and professional certification essential. Qualification in India or South East Asia countries (such as Singapore, Malaysia, or Thailand) is required for this position.
Extensive experience in following areas: contract review and negotiation, including engineering and other professional services contracts, and government contracts.
Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
Ability to view legal matters from a business perspective.
Ability to interact effectively with colleagues.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Good mentoring/management skills.
