Not often we ask for help here at HOB but Jet Star Australia have driven us to our wits end with their greed, stupidity,
bad manners and general nastiness
Had booked a flight one way Bali – Sydney
Coming From HK so needed to make the connection. Called on the phone to make connection booking and the woman
managed to book me 24 hours late– so not a chance of making the connection. Although i had asked her on the phone to confirm
verbally that she had booked a flight that would make the connection
This in itself wasn’t so bad when i spotted the mistake and called them. This is where the dramas started – They refused to do
anything about changing the flight so in the end i had to book on Qantas 1 way HK – Sydney
Thus losing a lot of money in the process
I have now contacted their customer service via their web form ( which mysteriously is out ofaction at least 60% of the time) there is no
way to ring customer service – only bookings
After 20 plus tries i am beginning to despair
Have any HOB readers had similar experiences and if so do you have a methadology to deal with them. No listing for telephone
numbers in white pages for their corportae offices and even on linked in they appear to have a company policy of no surnames
so the likes of people like me canot contact them
Does anybody know any lawyers who have chased JetStar ?
They owe me in the thousands and am determined at the very least for someone from the company to communicate with them
I know this is not the right forum — but having discovered a company worse than Verizon I am determined to get something
from them even if it’s only pretend “manners”
What’s amazing is that this is the first time i had ever attempted to fly with them – most definitely the last .. that’s for sure
