Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world’s leading global law firms with over 4,000 lawyers and staff in 31 offices is currently seeking an Intranet Content Administrator. The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of aspects of the firm’s intranet using SharePoint and other tools. This individual works with the Research and Library Services and Information Technology departments as well as with the different legal practice groups to publish and update firm approved intranet content while ensuring that quality standards and deadlines are met. In addition, the Intranet Content Administrator performs a variety of research, testing and administrative tasks in support of Intranet development and Research and Library Services efforts.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform daily updates and maintenance to the Research and Library Services department and Practice Group areas of the firm’s intranet.
- Perform content audits to ensure quality control and adherence to firm guidelines
- Converts all submissions to a format that maintains the consistent look and feel based on firm standards
- Coordinate with Project Manager regarding edits
- Coordinate with content managers and practice group liaisons regarding content changes for site materials.
- Monitor and maintain research portal and topical pages for changes to all firm-subscribed resources.
- Proactively monitors for attorney/staff departures and correct or update data as necessary
- Provides first level support to resolve content issues
- Produces reports, data analytics and visualizations related to library resources
- Assists with library data cleanup projects
- Craft standard procedures for repetitive tasks.
- Monitor email requests; rerouting as appropriate
- Provides input to Intranet procedures documentation and guides.
- Collaborates with internal teams to improve intranet functionality.
- Organizes and prioritizes projects and deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
This job requires:
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in information services-related field – (Deleted Computer Science) Communications, English, Library Science or related discipline, and
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with dedicated responsibilities associated with web publishing.
