Inner Temple’s Current Awareness Blog Five Years Old

We’ve just received  an email telling us that This month the Inner Temple Library?s Current Awareness blog is celebrating its 5th

anniversary.

If you haven’t come across it before here’s what they say about themselves

We are pleased with how the blog has been received and thought we would use this opportunity to highlight some of the benefits of subscribing to this free service:

– Current Awareness provides an easy way to keep up to date with legal news, new case law and changes in legislation

– Content is selected and updated daily by information professionals

– Over 20 sources are checked on a daily basis, and 47 sources are monitored in total. Sources now include selected chambers websites

– The blog has a searchable archive of over 23,000 posts

– Posts are indexed using a controlled vocabulary: there are now over 1,000 categories.

– Users can access content in a way that suits them: by RSS, daily email alert or by following updates on Twitter. (@inner_temple)

We have had some very positive comments from the press and from users:

?An extremely useful digest of latest resolutions and legal news stories from around the web, updated regularly.?
– The Times
?I cannot praise highly enough the Inner Temple Library blog. The librarians provide a comprehensive survey of the legal world as they locate and dispense relevant information from a wide variety of sources, from government websites, to professional organisations in addition to both mainstream and legal media; it is rather like having your own personal desktop librarian hunting out interesting articles for you.? – Amanda Millmore, Internet Newsletter for Lawyers
