Inner Temple Library’s Current Awareness Blog Undergoes Re-Design

The Inner Temple Library in London reports that a recent change of web host has provided them with the opportunity to redesign and re-launch their Current Awareness blog.

Currently? temporary redirect is in place so the old URL will still lead you to the blog, but our new address is as follows: www.innertemplelibrary.com

Here’s what they say about the blog and re-design

What is the Current Awareness blog?
The Inner Temple Library’s Current Awareness blog was launched in March 2007. The blog was created with the intention of providing a useful and time-saving online resource, aggregating legal news from a variety of press, government departments and regulatory bodies.

The latest legal news stories plus details of new case law and changes in legislation are selected by Inner Temple Library staff and posted on the blog each day.

Who can use it?
The blog is free to use and readers can access content via the website, subscribe to
daily updates via email or RSS feed or follow updates on Twitter.

The blog has continued to grow in popularity and we have received very positive feedback from our readers who include barristers, solicitors, judges, students, librarians, academics and civil servants. We have also received press coverage in The Times and the Guardian, both of which have recognised the Current Awareness service as an important legal blog.

What is the scope of content?
We check a wide range of free legal sources http://www.innertemplelibrary.com/about/sources/ , but the blog is selective rather than comprehensive. The focus is on legal news, new case law and changes in legislation in England and Wales.

As well as featuring the latest news, the blog also contains a substantial archive. There are now over 19,000 posts indexed in over 1,000 subject categories.
