A lawyer in Ghaziabad was shot dead by two unknown assailants in his chamber on Wednesday. Officials have CCTV footage of the murder and are investigating the case.
A lawyer was shot dead by two unknown men in his chamber in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad on Wednesday. According to police, the lawyer Manoj Chaudhary was having food in his chamber, when two unknown assailants attacked him and ran away.
The incident happened at around 2:15 pm, police said. CCTV cameras installed in the lawyer’s chamber have captured the incident.

Officials from the Singhni Gate police station have launched an investigation and are examining the footage to identify the murderers. A team of forensic experts was also called to the site for further investigation.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Ghaziabad City, Nipun Aggarwal, said, “Today, at around 2:15 pm, police station Singhni Gate received information that Monu Chaudhary alias Manoj Chaudhary was sitting in his chamber, when two unknown assailants came and shot him dead.” The corpse has been sent for post-mortem and an investigation is underway, he added.
