Lawyer killed in Hardoi

A sensational incident has come to light in Hardoi of Uttar Pradesh. A lawyer was shot dead here. The crook came to meet the lawyer posing as a client. After committing the crime, the criminals fled from the spot. This incident is causing outrage among the people. After coming to know about the incident, the police reached the spot and seized the body and sent it for post-mortem.

The angry lawyers blocked the Hardoi-Lucknow highway at Cinema Square. The police are investigating the matter. The name of the deceased is Kanishk Mehrotra. Two miscreants committed a crime at the lawyer’s house. The two miscreants shot him dead after placing a weapon on his temple.

A 65-year-old advocate was seriously injured by the bullet. He was admitted to Hardoi Medical College for immediate treatment. Doctors referred him to Lucknow from there. Where he died during treatment. Enraged by the lawyer’s murder, lawyers blocked the road near Cinema Intersection in Hardoi. The lawyers lifted the jam as the police assured strict action against the culprits.

The police are investigating several issues, including a property dispute

Hardoi Superintendent of Police Neeraj Jadaun said that Kanishk Mehrotra, a senior lawyer living near Cinema Square, was shot dead by unknown miscreants. A team has been formed. Raids are being conducted in various areas to nab the criminals.

Eyewitness narrated the entire incident

Lawyer Munshi Girish Chandra said that two people had come. He said he wanted to see a lawyer. The court marriage is to be done, we went to call the lawyer and then he came out of the house. The men extended the file to the lawyer and in the meantime they took out their guns and shot him and fled.
