Advocate Siddharth Das was attacked and seriously injured by three men on a motorcycle using a sharp weapon (bhujali) near the Shantiya Bridge on National Highway-16 in Jaleswar, Balasore district, Odisha. He was initially rushed to the Jaleswar Community Health Centre and later transferred in critical condition to the Balasore Headquarters Hospital.
