IALL’s 2022 Conference Bursaries Update

On behalf of the IALL board and the Scholarships Committee, I am happy to share that our scholarships programme will resume this year in conjunction with the annual course to be held in Stanford, California, USA.

This will be IALL’s 40th Annual Course and the theme is “U.S. and International Approaches to Law, Justice, and Technology: Learning from the Past and Strategies for the Future.” The course is being presented by the Robert Crown Law Library at Stanford Law School and will be held 9-12 October 2022.

The course website is now live at http://iall.org/conf2022; registration will open 15 April.

This year IALL is offering three (3) Regular Bursaries of up to US$2,500 each by competition to help law librarians attend the forthcoming IALL Annual Course in Stanford. These bursaries are available to both Individual IALL members and non-members. Full information and an application form are online at http://iall.org/scholarship-information/.

The Association is also offering four (4) Members-Only Bursaries of up to US$2,500 each by competition to help law librarians attend the upcoming Stanford Annual Course. These bursaries are only available to IALL Individual-level members who have been dues paying members for the current year and the two immediately preceding years. Full information and an application form are online at http://iall.org/scholarship-information/.

The deadline to submit an application for either category of bursary is Monday 9 May 2022. All application materials must be received by 9 May 2022; incomplete applications will not be considered.

We hope the bursary program will help make attendance and participation possible for IALL members and non-members.

Warm regards,

David
