I’m sure I remember there was a discussion on lis-law recently about informa/i-law and the cost to subscribe etc?
We’ve just found out that Informa/I-law products are no longer available on Lexis, which is extremely irksome as the cost to subscribe to the same products direct with
I-law is astronomical! Oh and the new renewals for paper copies + internet access has the archive only going back 12 months (this I’m sure has been discussed recently..)
Has anybody else encountered the same problem and had decisions to make over cancelling Informa subs?
Probably not news to many of you but we thought it worth recording for posterity.
Interestingly in our recent online survey of Law Librarians with regard to legal publishers price rises in 09 ( www.excitedutteranceslln.com ) Informa were seen as a publisher who wouldn’t be gouging too much this year
