Pricing schedules on its website show that law firms can be charged $60 an hour for being connected to the network, while it’s possible for their searches to cost more than $1,000 an hour.
But Baton Rougeans with library cards can now research law review articles, legal precedents, federal regulations, patents, news articles, broadcast transcripts and international journals without going broke.
Those using LexisNexis legal will need to be inside of the library, but there is no limit to the number of people who can simultaneously use the database. People can search LexisNexis News from the comfort of their own homes or offices through the digital library.
