Lexis Nexis 2011 – Is It The Endgame For Vezmar ?

Every now and then our US based Legal Publishing Mole sends through some tantalizing snippets . In the latest we learn that LN internal politics at senior management level look to get somewhat Borgia like in the upcoming months

Legal Publishing Mole reports for us……

“2011 should be interesting at LexisNexis as Mike Walsh makes key decisions on the composition of his new leadership team at Lexis Nexis. When a new chief executive takes over, it is the norm for changes to be made as former competitors for the top job are replaced with loyalists to the new chief. With Andy Prozes departure at the year end, it is now Mike Walsh’s turn.

One person to watch is the CEO International, Judy Vezmar, who it is said interviewed for the top spot.? Some recall tensions between her and Mike Walsh over his participation at her annual meeting in South Africa a couple of years ago. Her performance has been as mediocre at best. Even the existence of the under-performing International division in its present form may be up for review.?

Other former members of Andy Prozes team may be a similar position. We will only know when he announces the new line-up, something that should be announced in the near future. At LexisNexis, the staff awaits with baited breath. “
