It appears that after the lawyer riots last year after the? removal of the country’s Chief Justice by former president Pervez Musharraf.. that some lawyers have decided that adrenalin and violence is a great solution to any problem.. even breaking the leg of a police inspector.

Members of the Pakistani legal community said that only a handful of lawyers were responsible for the attacks, and criticised them for bringing the rest of the profession into disrepute. Justice Tariq Mahmood, who led the protests two years ago, said that unless something was done quickly everything that the demonstrations had achieved would be lost.
