Just a little vignette ..
A colleague of ALE’s was to be found in a HK courts building today fighting the usual dodgy local business shark and attempting to take advantage of the final vestiges of a common law system ( see story below) and as usual it was the normal sit around in a corridor for a number of hours waiting to be called.
Like most human beings in the 21st century there comes that time when one device or another needs to be re-charged so it was off to a power socket for 10 minutes to recharge… but no it appears that Hong Kong govt buildings electricity isn’t for the likes of you or I and aforesaid colleague was threatened with being forcibly removed from the building if the device wasn’t immediately un plugged from the wall socket.
