A great new permanent job opportunity for a Knowledge and Information Manager to deliver the Knowledge and Information Service to a highly respected law firm. This is both a strategic and hands on role, managing one other. Significant remote working is available as preferred.
Key job responsibilities will include:
Ensuring that all internal clients have access to the knowledge & information resources, in line with business needs
Heading up Knowledge Management and Information Management projects
Delivering change management using communication, marketing, training, feedback, surveys, and presentations.
Ensuring the lawyers get training on information/KM resources
Providing current awareness
Vendor and resource management
Budget Management
Stakeholder management
Key job and person specification:
You will have a Knowledge and Information background that will enable you to perform this role effectively, gained within a legal or professional services Information service.
This will include:
Experience in KM activities by bringing together people, processes and technology.
Excellent practical knowledge and experience of legal information resources. Knowledge of business information resources would also be valuable.
Ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the business.
Change and project management skills.
This would suit an experienced Information professional with commercial awareness, good problem solving and communication skills.
A qualification in Information Management is ideal.
