Our Client is a Global Asset Management Company with a very strong presence in the Asia Pacific Region. Due to expansion, an exciting opportunity is becoming available to their Legal Team.
Reporting to the General Counsel in Asia, the incumbent will primarily be responsible for providing legal advice and support to the professionals in the Asia (Ex Japan) region in the following areas:
Private Equity and Direct Investment transactions in the region
M&A Transactions
Fixed Income and Listed Equities/Fund Management activities
HR, Operations and Compliance
Litigation and dispute management in the region
Audit and Regulatory investigations
Requirements
Education and Professional Qualifications
US, UK and HK Qualified Lawyer or Solicitor
Working Experience
Minimum 8-10 years of relevant legal experience at a major international law firm or MNC
Experience in investment business, particularly in Private Equity and Direct Investments
Experience in dealing with a broad range of legal issues in different countries in the region
Ability to balance legal and commercial considerations
Other Skills
Fluent in spoken and written English and second language is preferred
Excellent at communicating with different levels of internal and external parties
