Interesting comment from our legal mole in the US who says with regard to the sale of Lexis in Germany..
FYI – The Lexis business in Germany is a small business and not Lexis Nexis legal publishing as we understand it to be in Canada, the US or Australia. Its sale is of no significance.
Although we don’t wish to disagree with such a font of knowledge here at HOB we do find significance in the fact that the business was sold to Kluwer and however small we think it does set a precedent that we wouldn’t be surprised to see repeated over the next 12 months.
