Georgetown Law: Anticipating the Supreme Court’s October Term 2020

Georgetown Law’s Supreme Court Institute hosted its annual press briefing, “Anticipating the Supreme Court’s October Term 2020,” on September 22nd.

A panel of Supreme Court experts discuss major cases to be argued this fall, including how the absence of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg may impact outcomes. Cases discussed include those on the Affordable Care Act, computer fraud, child slave labor, and a faith-based group’s First Amendment claim around excluding same-sex foster parents. The panel also looks ahead to potential cases involving the 2020 election.
