Young lawyers take up legal process outsourcing in Rajasthan

Jaipur, May 17: The evolution and maturity of the Indian BPO sector has given birth to yet another wave on the global outsourcing scene, and this happens to be legal process outsourcing (LPO).?
With prime cities such as Bangalore, Mumbai, New Delhi, Hyderabad and Pune touching the saturation point, vis-‘-vis BPO, the LPO industry is now shifting its focus to second tier cities.
Over the past two years, Rajasthan has emerged as a major hub for the LPO industry.n this count, Jaipur has emerged as the favourite spot for prospective LPO firms, and, it has witnessed an investment of around 1.5 billion rupees.
A team of young law graduates is burning the midnight candle in resolving legal issues for their clientS in the USA and Britain.
On an optimistic note, this group of fourteen law graduates under the banner of Mindlaws Solicitors Private Limited is a pioneer in offering LPO services in Rajasthan.
“LPO industry in India is around 3.4 to four billion US dollars as of now and it is expected to reach 15 billion dollars by 2015. As far as the manpower is concerned, currently 6000 lawyers are working in the industry and 80,000 lawyers will be required by 2015,” said Dilpreet Singh Sidhu, CEO, Mindlaws Solicitors Private Limited, Jaipur.
Aspirant law graduates are trained in intricacies of different laws practised in the West.
“This is the first LPO industry in Rajasthan and they are providing good facilities. Mostly the training programmes in any LPO firms are held online but this is the first firm where face-to-face training sessions are held. The trainers are also putting more than 100 percent effort to teach us,” said Ritu, an LPO executive.
Although the US laws are totally different from India but intensive research and in-depth study makes these budding lawyers of Rajasthan to emerge as experts in American cases
