Granta have just named their

Granta Best of Young British Novelists 2023

Here’s the list care of the wonderful LRB bookshop in London ( just opp the British Museum) and always no.1 on our visit list when in London because not only do they have great books they also have great cake and who know what author you might see sitting in ther cafe.

 

Every ten years, ?Granta magazine names their 20 best British novelists under 40, and it’s always an influential list – Kazuo Ishiguro, Salman Rushdie, Jeanette Winterson and Zadie Smith are among the writers named in previous decades. The latest list is out, and it’s full of new names that are already firm shop favourites: our boy Tom Crewe first among them.
