Former Oklahoma County judge resigns from Bar Association amid misconduct allegations

Former Oklahoma County Judge Timothy Henderson has officially resigned from the Oklahoma Bar Association.

Henderson originally resigned from his position in March of 2021 due to allegations concerning sexual misconduct with female attorneys, some of whom were prosecutors on cases Henderson resided over.

These allegations have led to at least one case Henderson resided over being overturned.

The case of Robert Leon Hashagen III was overturned in July of this year due to the nature of Henderson’s relationship with the prosecution on the case.

Within the letter of resignation, Henderson stated, “I admit my conduct brought discredit upon the legal profession and was prejudicial to the administration of justice”.

Henderson also waived “any and all right to contest the allegations.”
