Wrong.. it’s Florida and according to the police it all happened

We’re guessing a Florida man on probation for smuggling cocaine and accused of luring endangered deer into a home he was working on — and then watching Fox News with the animals — wasn’t bright-eyed and bushy-tailed upon arrest.

There was no hoofing it from the law for Thomas Geatal Scancarelli, 61, of Big Pine Key, Fla., who was arrested on two counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

According to the U.K. Daily Mail, Scancarelli was on probation for convictions of cocaine trafficking and had previously been arrested by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for feeding an endangered species of Key deer by hand.

Monroe County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Becky Herrin told ABC affiliate WPLG that FWC officers noticed “two rifles and an AR-15-style weapon mounted on the wall,” and immediately alerted deputies.
