The International Association of Fire Fighters dropped a federal lawsuit accusing Powercall Sirens LLC of using the union’s registered trademarks without authorization to sell unlicensed merchandise online.
Judge Patricia Tolliver Giles approved the IAFF’s notice of voluntary dismissal without prejudice to renew, since Powercall hadn’t filed an answer to the complaint or a motion for summary judgment, according to an order issued Monday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
