A home working opportunity for an experienced Information professional with a strong legal and business research background has arisen. This is a permanent full-time role although applicants who would like to work on a 4 day per week basis will be considered.
The primary responsibility for this role is to deliver news alerts and current awareness covering a range of business and legal topics using news aggregators and other alert tools. You will also be required to contribute to the successful delivery of library and research requests for the legal sector. Specifics include:
- Project managing, developing and delivering current awareness alerts
- in-depth legal and business research using a variety of online resources
- delivering research results and client reports in a professional manner
- Contribute to the efficient and effective management of workflow of research request
- working effectively with colleagues remotely
To be considered for this role you will have experience of working within an Information Service (preferably in a legal environment), proven success of working on current awareness projects and delivering to tight deadlines, extensive knowledge of key business and legal databases and a qualification in Library/Information Management.
