Event: Book Discussion: Diverse Voices in Public Law

Wednesday 11 October 2023, 10 – 11.15 am

Via Zoom

The British-Irish Chapter of the International Society of Public Law is delighted to host a panel discussion on Diverse Voices in Public Law (Bristol University Press, 2023).  This important new book explores the main topics in UK public law from a range of underexplored perspectives and amplifies the voices of scholars who are underrepresented in the field.

In this webinar, we will hear from the book editors, Se-Shauna Wheatle (Durham University) and Elizabeth O’Loughlin (Durham University) as well as two of the chapter authors, Ciara Fitzpatrick (Ulster University) and Kanika Sharma (SOAS), followed by reflections from two respondents, Vidya Kumar (SOAS) and Suryapratim Roy (Trinity College, Dublin).  The webinar will be chaired by Aileen McHarg (Durham University), and there will be time for audience questions.

The webinar will be of interest to anyone, in the UK and beyond, concerned to diversify their teaching in public law or to discover fresh perspectives on familiar topics.
