JOB DETAILS
Our client is a prestigious International Law Firm and they are actively looking for high caliber associates to join their expanding Greater China Energy Practice.
In this role, you will be exposed to numerous opportunities for major energy deals and projects in Greater China. You will also be working with a strong client base which includes many of the firm’s regional and multinational energy clients.
The position is to be based in Hong Kong. Candidates who have previously worked in Australia and Singapore are encouraged to apply.
To be successful in this role, prospective candidates will have
Equivalent of 3-5 years post qualification experience from HK, UK, Australia, SE Asia or any other equivalent common law jurisdiction with relevant post qualification experience
Solid experience in an energy / projects practice of a top-tier firm with prior work experience in M&A and project financing in the energy sector.
Experience with Oil and Gas (including LNG) preferred, Mining, Power and alternative energy is also relevant
M&A and Commercial Contracts experience is essential and Finance experience advantageous
Fluent written and spoken English is required.
Written and spoken Mandarin would be preferred, but not essential
