Egypt’s Head of Lawyers’ Syndicate Ragai Attia Passes away Aged 84 Whilst In Court Defending Lawyers

Ragai Attia, the head of Egypt’s Lawyers’ Syndicate, passed away this afternoon at the age of 84, shortly after he suffered health complications during a hearing session of the lawyers’ trial before the Imbaba Criminal Court in Giza.

Abu Bakr Dawah, the Assistant Secretary-General of the Bar Association, announced Ragai’s death after he fell on the ground during the hearing of the lawyers’ trial before the Imbaba Criminal Court.
