The AFR reports this morning
London | British legal and business services firm DWF has taken a scythe to its Australian operation, cutting its headcount by two-thirds as it focuses on its insurance practice in Brisbane.
DWF will dispense with about 14 principal lawyers (partners) and 85 employees in Australia, leaving it with about 40 staff including five partners.
Its Newcastle branch will close, and the Sydney and Melbourne offices will shrink to house only staff from its business advisory unit Connected Services.
