Lawyer Sidney Smeets was elected to Parliament in March but has now launched his own law firm.

Sidney Smeets had won a seat for D66, a centre-left, pro-European party, during the Dutch general elections held in March. He served as member of parliament for just 17 days before stepping down in mid-April.
