- Enhancing the firm’s knowledge capture and knowledge sharing architecture, by designing and maintaining an innovative and industry-leading blueprint, in order to deliver increased value of knowledge content across the business.
- Building the firm’s strategic business intelligence capability via key data points and helping to productise and where appropriate, monetise outputs.
- Generating operational efficiency and continuous improvement across the knowledge management function particularly in relation to precedents, knowledge systems, KM training programs, digital subscriptions and library services.
- Working with our Markets team to provide sales pursuit support through improved commercial awareness insights.
You’ll need to:
- Build relationships with key internal and external stakeholder groups (such as Managing Partners, Business Unit Leaders, Industry Leaders, legal operations, document automation team, markets team and learning & development) and connect knowledge management with these areas.
- Lead and deliver MinterEllison’s knowledge strategy.
- Enhance knowledge sharing platforms across the firm to intuitively surface relevant knowledge and improve accessibility for users.
- Lead, coach and develop team members to deliver on aspirational outcomes.
- Manage the firm’s library catalogue and ensuring effective investment in and accessibility to appropriate research resources.
- Work with other relevant Digital functions to co-develop user-friendly content collaboration solutions and facilitate effective collaboration on knowledge content.
- Manage a precedent function to support the standardisation of precedent documents and ensure compliance with MinterEllison style guidelines.
- Maintain research training programs for professionals across the firm.
- Implement and maintain media monitoring and news alerts tools to surface information relevant to firm’s user base.

Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to prepare and present papers and presentations in a high performance environment.

Strong influencing skills and personal credibility established through demonstrated career success in comparable and relevant environments.

Significant experience working across functions to deliver technology solutions/systems/tools into the business.

The ability to negotiate contractual arrangements and seek innovative offerings and strategic vendor relationships.
