Our client is a household name international group and leader in its field. The legal department is viewed as a dynamic function and now has the need for this senior level appointment to be based in the Greater China region (HK/SH/BJ)

The new appointee would be a senior member of both the Asia Pacific and Global Legal teams and play an instrumental role in the delivery of world class legal service to the business through hands on technical legal work and involvement with internal clients. Primary responsibilities will include strategic planning and development, management of legal staff in Asia Pacific, provision of technical legal services as well as ensuring legal best practices throughout the region.

To be successful in this role you must be an exceptional individual with upwards of 13 years post qualification legal experience, ideally gained from working in-house. English is the business language and fluency in Mandarin Chinese is essential. Extensive experience in Greater China as well as strong international exposure is strongly preferred.
