The opportunity

We have an exciting new part time opportunity (3 or 4 days a week) for a research centre technician to work within the research team to provide research services, deliver current awareness services, assist with research training, assist with intranet maintenance and work on other projects as required. This role is available immediately and is a fixed term contract for 6 months.

About you

We are looking for candidates with experience working in a knowledge or library/research role within any professional services industry. Experience in the legal environment will be highly regarded. As would someone with 2-4 years of experience working in a legal library environment. Relevant tertiary qualifications and eligibility for professional membership to the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) are essential.

Imperative to the success of this role will be a pro-active style, as well as a practical and hands on approach and a ‘can-do’ attitude.  Your ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment will be highly regarded.
