Country music singer Morgan Wallen was arrested and charged with multiple felonies after police in Tennessee say he threw a chair off the rooftop of a Nashville honky-tonk.
The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department announced the arrest on the social platform X, formerly Twitter, on Monday. The incident occurred on Sunday evening and police said Wallen was booked on three counts of felony reckless endangerment and a single count of misdemeanor disorderly conduct.
Police allege Wallen threw a chair from the roof of Chief’s Bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville. When the chair plummeted to the ground six stories below, it landed close to two Metropolitan Nashville Police Department officers.
The department said Wallen posted bond of $15,250 and was promptly released.
