Join our dynamic team at a boutique civil and criminal law firm (with a human rights focus) and become the driving force behind our digital presence. As a Content Writer and Social Media Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand’s voice, increasing our online visibility, and advocating for justice.

Responsibilities

Content Creation: Craft engaging, informative, and thought-provoking content for our website, blog, and legal publications, showcasing our expertise. This includes writing about our cases, as well as current affairs relevant to our area.

Social Media Management: Develop social media strategies across multiple platforms, creating impactful campaigns that resonate with our audience. Monitor accounts and direct enquiries to relevant colleagues in a timely manner.

Design: Create visually engaging assets for our social media, blog, website, and office supplies using Canva and Adobe.

Video Creation: Film and edit short-form videos for TikTok, YouTube and Instagram Reels of interviews and company events.

Website Management: Maintain and update our website, ensuring it reflects the latest legal developments and showcases our work to potential clients.

Public Relations Writing: Prepare press releases, media pitches, and client stories to enhance our firm’s reputation and secure media coverage.

Selection Criteria:

· Minimum 1 years’ experience in similar or related role

· Exceptional writing and communication skills

· Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools.

· Experience in website content management (WordPress)

· Experience in basic graphic design (Canva)

· Experience in editing short-form videos

· Understanding of basic legal concepts

· A passion for social justice and making a positive impact

· Ability to take initiative and work independently

· Volunteer experience and/or strong professional experience (in a different field is acceptable)

· Work from our newly renovated offices in Sydney CBD
