If your organization is considering offshore Legal Process Outsourcing in 2009 or 2010, a critical step will be site visits to evaluate LPO vendors in India.

If, like most American legal professionals, you have limited experience with outsourcing to India, you may find it difficult to evaluate vendor business models, cultures and practices in an international context.? For the uninitiated, even arranging and navigating foreign visits can be daunting.

To address these challenges, Red Bridge Strategy is organizing a Legal Process Outsourcing Vendor Evaluation trip to India.

The trip will offer legal professionals from American corporations and law firms a first-hand view of major LPO operations, and an opportunity to evaluate prospective vendors.

The trip is planned for November 1 ? 7, 2009, and we expect to visit five to seven LPO service providers in four or five major cities in India.? The final itinerary will be determined by participants? interests.

In addition to organizing the trip, Red Bridge Strategy will provide participants with a pre-trip briefing on the industry and LPO vendors, supply a vendor evaluation framework and support for on-site due diligence, coordinate with vendors to ensure visits address participants? specific concerns, and assist clients in analyzing and summarizing their findings both during and after the trip.

Who should be interested?

The trip is designed for lawyers and legal professionals with responsibility for managing legal work that could be outsourced.? The trip will be most valuable to companies that are evaluating their legal services outsourcing strategy and have identified potential vendors.

Decision Dates

Given the early interest, and the need to coordinate with numerous parties, participants will need to confirm their participation in the trip by September 11, 2009.
